In June this year, FI and FV sent happy birthday wishes to the Queen for her 90th birthday. Just before half term, the girls were delighted – and very honoured – to receive a royal response, from the Queen’s Lady-In-Waiting, who thanked all our pupils for their kind and thoughtful messages.
On Friday 21st October, GB Athlete Luke Lennard Ford came to Seaton House to give the girls some Athletics Training and to raise sports awareness at school. He certainly put Senior House pupils – and Staff! – through their paces. After training Luke stayed on to help judge some in-house competitions.
On Friday 30th September we held a Coffee Morning to raise money for Jeans for Genes Day, MacMillan and Breast Cancer Research. Our pupils came to school dressed in pink and our parents baked cakes for us to sell. The Coffee Morning was a huge success – we raised £742.00! Thank you to all our pupils, families and friends who came to support us.
At the end of term, we held a graduation ceremony for all Nursery pupils who are leaving to attend Junior House or Primary School in September. We were all very proud and we had a lovely day.
On Tuesday 21st June, Senior House pupils went by coach to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to watch a live international women’s hockey match between Australia and Argentina. The girls had a wonderful time and, as the event was filmed, they even made a television appearance! During the interval, some schools were asked to participate in a hockey competition which Alia Peerbhoy, FVI, won! Congratulations to her and to all the girls for being such wonderful representatives of Seaton House.
In March, FV and FVI went on their residential trip to the Isle of Wight. The girls enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities and had great fun.
There was great excitement in Nursery in February, when the children hatched their very own Easter Chicks!
See how the girls in our Reception class took a trip on a train and came back with a new member of the class!

About the School
Seaton House School was founded in 1930 and has grown and thrived over the past 85 years. We are a member of IAPS, the Independent Association of Preparatory Schools and are regulated by the ISI the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
We are a small, friendly and nurturing school with a keen eye on the academic, sporting and artistic accomplishments of our pupils. We strive to bring out the best each girl can be and celebrate her achievements both at school and in extra-curricular pursuits. Year on year, we are hugely proud of the successes of our Form VI leavers as they embark on their senior school careers. Confident young ladies, well prepared to face new and exciting challenges having benefited from, what we believe to be, simply the best of starts in their education.
