Joining Senior House

Entering Form III is a new challenge for your daughter as she moves from Junior House into Senior House. She will notice a number of changes in routine, which are all designed to increase her independence and help her to become a more responsible individual. Your daughter will not have all her lessons in her own classroom and will have to organise her homework and belongings on a daily basis. She will be given a detailed Homework Diary to assist with this.

She will have many lessons taught by specialist teachers and she will learn a great many new skills in all subjects. The organisation of school trips – including an overnight residential stay – off-timetable days and in-house competitions will all help to relieve the load and give the girls opportunities to work together in different ways.

Naturally, all the girls will be supported by staff in this very interesting year, but we also encourage those at home to complete the partnership on their behalf. We look forward to being able to help your daughter to take one more step towards her future.

As well as supervised care from 8.00am, we offer a daily Homework Club and extended After School Care to 6.00pm.
