FVI Visit the Royal School of Needlework
A report by Dila Seshadri, FVI: On Wednesday 10th October, Form VI went for the first time to the Royal School of Needlework Animals in Embroidery Exhibition at Hampton Court Palace. I personally thought it was great, as it was fascinating to see all the amazing embroidered art with such detail at arm’s length. Even though we did not have time to look at the spectacular pieces of art, we did have an amazing experience of making giant buttons of either a spider, a bee, a ladybird or a bat, stitching colourful threads into linen. It was a very memorable experience as the people working there were very kind and loved being asked questions all the time. All together, I believe Seaton House should send more Forms as it was a very educational trip and a lovely place to go.
