Roman Centurion Day

Earlier this week, Lucius Felix Sylvanus, a Roman Centurion, came to Seaton House to tell Senior House pupils what is was like to be a centurion in Roman times. He told us all about life in the army and about living in a Roman villa. He showed us how to prepare a feast, including salad in an elephant’s trunk, peacock’s brains and for dessert, honeyed dormice. This was a fantastic, funny and very informative morning. Thank you Mrs Wilson for arranging it for us.
